i have a new copy of Vista Ultimate still in the box...I "borrowed" it from work and never put it on my new rig.

If Crysis is Vista only...I might find the time to install it.

Provided your machine is powerfull enough to take advantage of vista, I would recomment installing it. I work within IT and saying this is proberbly slapperble, but... I like vista!

It is, I'm running pretty much the same thing you are except for the Quad Core mine is only Dual.

Conroe E6600 2.4 GHz
4 Gigs DDR2 800
8800 GTS

I remember when I ran HL2 at max setting for the first time...it was amazazing
